距复学才一个多月，上海德英乐学院就要迎来暑假啦。尽管如此短暂，但是这个学期确确实实的结束了(小编知道你们其实很舍不得和自己心爱的老师和朋友们说ByeBye)。在这学期的最后一天，我们在小剧场进行了结业仪式。这次由小编来讲讲结业仪式上都发生了些什么吧。

We just returned to the campus over a month ago andnow we are welcoming the approach of summer vacation. Brief as it is, thissemester is indeed drawing to a close. (I am well aware that you guys areunwilling to say goodbye to your beloved teachers and friends.) On the last dayof this semester, we held the closing ceremony at the little theater. Let metell you what had happened during the closing ceremony.

首先，十年级的同学们为我们带来了打击乐合奏，话不多说我们上照片，一睹他们台上的风采。

First, tenth graders presented us a percussionensemble. Have a look:

接下来Ms. Agnes为我们总结了这个学期各位同学及老师们的辛苦历程。同时也鼓励低年级同学们努力拓展英文阅读量，高年级同学们则要加把劲在标化考试上。

Then Ms. Agnes retraced the hard journey teachers and students had been through inthis particular semester. She encouraged the junior class to read more Englishbooks and cheered the senior students on for their upcoming IELTS or TOEFL.

然后，美术生们向我们展示了他们这个学年的成果。这些惊艳的作品的确让我们称赞不已，台下的同学们也不禁为他们付出的努力鼓掌。

Ourartistic students showed us their works of this semester. Those wonderfulpieces amazed the audience to no end, earning generous applause for the timeand effort their creators put behind the work.

接着，两位主持人带着我们回顾了这个学年学校里的所有活动，从全校的大型活动：2019年9月的开学典礼，10月的学生会选举，文化节，11月的消防演习，运动会，感恩节，12月的圣诞节音乐会，2020年1月的才艺表演和疫情期间3月的抖音现场才艺表演，到校内各个社团带来的展示。感谢各位SDAer这学期的积极参与，仔细想来都是满满的回忆。

Then, our two hosts walked us through all the events we had had in this school year,from the opening ceremony in September, 2019, the election of the Students’Union, the Multicultural Festival, fire drills in November, the sports meeting,the Thanksgiving Day, the Christmas music festival in December, the talent showin January and the online Douyin show in March during the coronavirus time to performancesby different school clubs. Thanks for each SDAer’s participation. Now lookingback upon those activities, we are overwhelmed with fond memories.

其次，我们举行了颁奖典礼，为我们这学年的杰出同学们给予表扬和奖励。感谢他们这学年坚持不懈和积极向上的态度。

Next,we had our awards ceremony. Outstanding students were given their due praiseand recognition for their hard work and ever-striving attitude.

期待已久的由九年级学弟学妹们表演的脑洞大开的节目来啦——“Zoom!”，“Managebac!”，“Homework!”......是否让你想起了几个月前，那段“永生难忘”的线上学习时光呢。沉浸在表演的欢声笑语中，折服于创意的表演中，我们同时也要感谢Ms.Susan对同学们尽心的指导。

Later,ninth graders camp up with a whimsical show: “Zoom!”, “Managebac”, “Homework!”Did they remind you of the nightmarish days of online study? Amid the waves ofmerry laughter, we had a great time watching their performance. A big thank youto Ms. Susan for her support and guidance.

结业仪式

Ms. Lydia Liu强调了各位同学们在暑假里一定要保护好自己，避免去人群密集的地方。疫情期间，保护自己，保护家人!过一个安全的暑假!

Ms.Lydia Liu reiterated the importance of taking care of ourselves during thevacation, urging us to keep away from densely-populated venues and places. Havea nice and safe vacation!

最后，小编要感谢拥有甜美笑容的主持人Kiki和依旧稳重但带着风趣的主持人William在2019-2020学年为我们画下了一个圆满的句号。
