专业概况

在这里学什么？ Our Sports Science programme is for individuals interested in the science underpinning all aspects of human performance. The course aims to develop your skills in analysing and evaluating performance and providing interventions within the traditional (including exercise physiology, psychology, biomechanics and nutrition) and the contemporary sports science disciplines (such as performance analysis and strength and conditioning).This excellent course offers you the chance to study in a department equipped with its own human performance laboratories, performance analysis facilities, and strength and conditioning suite for testing, analysing, and training.We take an applied approach to our programme delivery, drawing on cutting edge research and decades of practitioner experience, to give you the transferable skills to make a difference in the field of sports science.

中国学生入学要求

为来自中国的学生设计 Applicants with a graduation certificate from a specialised college or school (zhongzhuan) with a final grade of 60% or above will be considered for the International Foundation Year. Applicants who have completed the huikao (senior secondary school) with a final grade of 60% or above will also be considered. Applicants who have completed three full years of high school and hold a senior secondary school graduation certificate with an overall minimum grade of 60% will be considered for undergraduate study. Applicants who hold a dazhaun qualification with a score of 60% or above will be considered for advanced entry on relevant undergraduate programmes if appropriate modules have been studied. Applicants who have achieved ACC/BCC/BC in graded units on their SQA-HND programme will be considered for final year entry on selected undergraduate business programmes. We require IELTS 6.0 (with a minimum 5.5 in each component) or equivalent.
