Just like the field itself, Lawrence Tech’s pre-law program is designed to challenge you from day one. Beginning your freshman year, you will be exposed to the tools needed to develop your ability to think critically and express yourself clearly and convincingly – skills that can help you succeed both in the classroom and in the courtroom. Lawrence Tech’s pre-law program places emphasis on mathematics, natural sciences, and the humanities. Students who major in mathematics, humanities, English, engineering, or the physical sciences traditionally do well on law school admission exams, and distinguish themselves in their professional careers. In addition to a superior education, you’ll gain a competitive edge by incorporating the latest advanced technologies into your studies – an excellent way to prepare you for fields such as corporate law or intellectual property (including patent law, trade secret law, etc.)
