上海德英乐学院经济学科开展了一场为期一个月的虚拟股票交易活动。在虚拟交易开始前，老师们为同学们示范了股票交易系统的使用，投资与股票不再是电子屏幕上闪烁的红绿指标，而变成了我们可以选择和触摸的金融通道。什么是经济?什么是金融?只有真正参与其中才能够感受到市场这只“无形的手”。

Mr Mike Scott是本次活动的组织老师，他向同学们抛出了一个有意思的问题：预测一下2021年的疫情走向，并思考这会对经济发展带来哪些机遇和挑战?同学们各抒己见，也许这些观点是稚嫩的，但这正是同学们走向金融的**步。只有思考了、参与了，才能够有所悟、有所得。

参加本次虚拟股票交易的是来自10年级选修经济的学生们，每位学生都有一百万美元的启动资金，用于未来一个月里在纽约证券交易中心(NYSE)投资和交易。在这次活动中，学生们在老师的指导下参与了基本的股票运营、交易，投资自己认为最合适的股票。

学生们利用已有的宏观经济学和企业行为知识去选择投资回报率最高的股票。比如在今年的IGCSE课程中提到过投资股票可以参考企业的生产创新值，就为学生们在股票交易的操作中提供了参考理据。

在这次活动中最终的冠军被Henry Sun摘取，他选择的是多元化、且覆盖了中美两个地区的科技股。

通过这次虚拟的股票交易活动中学生们可以认识到宏观经济性事件和上市公司在股票交易市场的表现之间的关系并不能被轻易地判断出来，但对经济领域有一个适当的框架性理解是投资成功的开始。

The Grade 10 economics students participated in a virtual stock market simulation. Each student was given $1 million dollars to invest in the NYSE over a period of a month. Students were instructed in the basic operations or buying and selling stocks and then allowed to allocate their funds as they saw fit.

The students could apply their knowledge of macroeconomics and the behavior of firms to try to pick the stocks which could produce the greatest return. Firms which are showing productivity and innovation gains, which have been introduced in the IGCSE course this year, were given as a hint to students.

The student who won this competition was Henry SUN, Qianyu who picked a diversified portfolio covering Americana and Chinese tech stocks.

The students will learn from this that the reflexive relationships between macroeconomic events and company/stock performance is not always easy to gauge but that a decent understanding of an economic framework can be a starting point for successful investment.
