在这里学什么？ Biological Sciences is an exciting and rapidly developing field, bringing together knowledge, ideas and techniques from all areas of biology to allow us to expand our understanding of the human body and its interplay with the environment.The BSc (Hons) Biological Sciences degree is designed to develop your understanding of the processes underlying life and health in whole organisms, focusing particularly on humans.The science of life is perhaps the key science of the 21st century. We know that the next generation of biological scientists will play an essential role in addressing some of the major problems facing modern civilisation - overpopulation, environmental change, human health and wellbeing within an ageing society.As such, we can expect the opportunities that exist for skilled biological scientists to be rich, rewarding and varied, and the ongoing investment of governments in the sector means that they are only likely to grow.As a student on our Biological Sciences degree, you will gain the skills and knowledge you need to be a part of the future, benefiting from the teaching and research insights of our internationally renowned academic staff.Over the duration of your Biological Sciences degree you will explore such fascinating topics as human evolution, anatomy and physiology, genetics and molecular biology, growth, developing and ageing.Our Biological Sciences degree is one of our recently launched programmes in the Biosciences, made possible by the opening of STEMLab - the University's £17 million investment in state-of-the-art laboratory facilities, including a suite of bio-laboratories.

为来自中国的学生设计 AAB (excluding General Studies, Critical Thinking, Communication and Culture and Citizenship Studies). In some circumstances we may ask applicants to achieve specific grades in certain subjects. While no specific A Level (or equivalent) subjects are required, we strongly prefer combinations drawn from traditional (academic) subjects to demonstrate a range of numerical, analytical and discursive abilities. These A Levels include: Ancient History, Biology, Classical Civilisation, Chemistry, Economics, English Language/Literature, Geography, Government and Politics, History, Languages (non-native), Law, Maths/Further Maths, Philosophy, Physics, Psychology, Religious Studies, Sociology and Statistics.
