Beyond a reasonable doubt, this is an elite program popular with elite students who have an average of 85% or above. Focusing on the legal aspects of philosophy, history, criminology, and sociology, there aren’t many other programs like it around. Use it to prepare for law school or an array of other careers. In this program you won’t just be a number. It’s a close knit department where your professors will know your name.

FUNCTIONAL KNOWLEDGE

• Describe and explain major issues and phenomena of political science
• Research and investigate political issues, synthesize data and information from varying sources and present descriptive and empirical evidence to support a central thesis
• Confidently assert political ideas and arguments, and defend them with sound reason and logic
• Effectively communicate ideas, arguments and evidence through clear, concise and coherent written work
• Explain the rights and responsibilities associated with Canadian and global citizenship
• Propose and evaluate alternative policy solutions to contemporary societal problems

为来自中国的学生设计 All programs require successful completion of the OSS Diploma and a minimum 70% average of six Grade 12 U or M courses, including ENG4U. English Language Requirements: A minimum score of 6.5 on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS); or A minimum score of 60 on the Carleton University’s Canadian Academic English Language Assessment (CAEL); or A minimum score of 60 on the Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE); or A minimum overall score of 176 on the Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) or the Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE); or Successful completion of the University of Windsor's English Language Improvement Program (ELIP) (level III) with a minimum final grade of 75%; or A minimum score of 85 on the English Proficiency Test administered by the English Language Institute of the University of Michigan (MELAB); or A minimum score of 220 with a T.W.E. 4.5 on the Computer-based Test, 83 with an essay score of 20 on the Internet-based Test of English as a Foreign Language (T.O.E.F.L.).
