We bring ancient history to life in a program that would make Indiana Jones jealous. Travel to Greece to take part in an archaeological dig, visiting famous landmarks and experiencing history first hand. You’ll learn about every aspect of Greco-Roman antiquity - language, literature, art, architecture, philosophy, politics, science, medicine, myth and religion - in a close-knit department with professors who care about your success.

FUNCTIONAL KNOWLEDGE

• Investigating and understanding the roles of religion, language, and tradition in societies past and present
• Determining and articulating the effects of historical peoples and events on modern cultures and practices
• Applying thorough knowledge of the past to predict future behaviour and make recommendations for best practices in a variety of fields
• Understanding the ways in which various social, cultural, and community groups interrelate
• Appreciating the respective roles of various governmental, cultural, and social institutions
• Understanding significant differences between groups, societies, religions, and cultures and using this knowledge to identify similarities and bridge differences in the workplace and elsewhere

为来自中国的学生设计 All programs require successful completion of the OSS Diploma and a minimum 70% average of six Grade 12 U or M courses, including ENG4U. English Language Requirements: A minimum score of 6.5 on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS); or A minimum score of 60 on the Carleton University’s Canadian Academic English Language Assessment (CAEL); or A minimum score of 60 on the Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE); or A minimum overall score of 176 on the Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) or the Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE); or Successful completion of the University of Windsor's English Language Improvement Program (ELIP) (level III) with a minimum final grade of 75%; or A minimum score of 85 on the English Proficiency Test administered by the English Language Institute of the University of Michigan (MELAB); or A minimum score of 220 with a T.W.E. 4.5 on the Computer-based Test, 83 with an essay score of 20 on the Internet-based Test of English as a Foreign Language (T.O.E.F.L.).
