Let's plan accessible education for all.- We offer a range of degrees in Education; all of which have been designed to equip you with the skills needed to create positive impact within education. The courses provide an understanding of how people learn and develop throughout life by analysing education models and theories – not limited to only within the classroom.- A degree in education will provide you with a multitude of transferable skills such as the ability to work and communicate with children, oral and written communication, problem-solving and research and analytic skills.- Our Education degrees are a great stepping stone for those that want to become teachers, and those that are interested in working within education. You’ll benefit from undertaking an Education degree before a PGCE to gain in-depth insight into education, with the option of combining it with a specialism that interests you.- For those students that are unsure about whether teaching is for them, these degrees provide an excellent insight into what teaching requires – and if you change your mind, you can progress into a wide variety of other roles and demonstrate transferable skills.**Why choose us?**- Our undergraduate programmes offer a placement opportunity in every year of study to enhance employability.- We offer student-centred teaching and learning in small groups; thereby offering focused support.- Students can gain international work experience through the Centre for Volunteering and Community Leadership with second and third-year modules; many of which are accredited by the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM).
