在这里学什么？ **The new BSc (Hons) Marine Biology is the first of its kind in the Northwest, managing to strike a fine balance between theoretical knowledge and practical skill learning.** Our oceans are filled with delicate ecosystems and amazing wildlife, but all of this is in danger. The human and environmental impact on ocean life is becoming increasingly apparent; develop the necessary skills to manage and preserve our oceans and have a positive impact on our natural world. Thanks to the supportive learning environment, you will gain a systematic understanding of key aspects of the marine environment, as well as a detailed insight into the industry that relies on it. The curriculum is contemporary and will enhance employability through the University’s collaboration initiative. Practical training is particularly relevant and will be delivered during two residential fieldtrips. The first one, in the second year of study, will be carried out in Dale (Wales), at the renowned Dale Fort Field Station. 为来自中国的学生设计 Applicants with a graduation certificate from a specialised college or school (zhongzhuan) with a final grade of 60% or above will be considered for the International Foundation Year. Applicants who have completed the huikao (senior secondary school) with a final grade of 60% or above will also be considered. Applicants who have completed three full years of high school and hold a senior secondary school graduation certificate with an overall minimum grade of 60% will be considered for undergraduate study. Applicants who hold a dazhaun qualification with a score of 60% or above will be considered for advanced entry on relevant undergraduate programmes if appropriate modules have been studied. Applicants who have achieved ACC/BCC/BC in graded units on their SQA-HND programme will be considered for final year entry on selected undergraduate business programmes. We require IELTS 6.0 (with a minimum 5.5 in each component) or equivalent.
