With unconditional Part 1 validation from the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and the Architects Registration Board (ARB), the course provides the crucial first stage in your journey to become a chartered architect.Delivered from our flagship New Adelphi building, you’ll thrive in a dynamic studio-based culture that promotes action learning. You’ll explore spatiality and the relationship between form, space, material and tectonics. You’ll study urban scale, history and theory. You’ll consider building performance and learn how to design to criteria and conceptual frameworks. You’ll sketch ideas, make models, and fill your Instagram feed with visits to local projects.Reflecting the real-world, you’ll complete multi-disciplinary projects and innovative problem-solving activities alongside other built environment students. 为来自中国的学生设计 Applicants with a graduation certificate from a specialised college or school (zhongzhuan) with a final grade of 60% or above will be considered for the International Foundation Year. Applicants who have completed the huikao (senior secondary school) with a final grade of 60% or above will also be considered. Applicants who have completed three full years of high school and hold a senior secondary school graduation certificate with an overall minimum grade of 60% will be considered for undergraduate study. Applicants who hold a dazhaun qualification with a score of 60% or above will be considered for advanced entry on relevant undergraduate programmes if appropriate modules have been studied. Applicants who have achieved ACC/BCC/BC in graded units on their SQA-HND programme will be considered for final year entry on selected undergraduate business programmes. We require IELTS 6.0 (with a minimum 5.5 in each component) or equivalent.
