在这里学什么？ Manufacturing engineering is the discipline of turning raw materials into new products and the research and development of new manufacturing processes, machines, tools and equipment.Manufacturing Engineers manufacture products to the correct specification, in the right quantity, as efficiently as possible, anywhere in the world. Our BEng Manufacturing Engineering degree allows you to gain a detailed knowledge of manufacturing technologies and processes, combined with technology management, business organisation and human resource management skills.Global growth of manufacturing industries presents a unique set of challenges to UK and international companies. Competitive edge and market share require constant and agile investment in the latest manufacturing processes, research and development of frontier breaking new technologies and the fostering of dedicated skill sets in many countries with diverse cultures and languages.This multinational business environment demands graduates who can demonstrate manufacturing technology and manufacturing management excellence. Manufacturing Engineers are required to link directly to Electronic Engineers, Materials Scientists, Mechanical Engineers, Product Designers and many others, turning design into reality but maintaining product functionality.This BEng Manufacturing Engineering degree considers issues of manufacturing technology and processing, linked to manufacturing management and provides an excellent platform for graduates wishing to register with the Engineering Council as an Incorporated Engineer or to progress to Chartered Engineer status after further academic learning. The transferable skills which graduates develop on our Manufacturing Engineering BEng degree should also suit them to employment and career routes in a wide variety of professions.

为来自中国的学生设计 AAB (excluding General Studies, Critical Thinking, Communication and Culture and Citizenship Studies). In some circumstances we may ask applicants to achieve specific grades in certain subjects. While no specific A Level (or equivalent) subjects are required, we strongly prefer combinations drawn from traditional (academic) subjects to demonstrate a range of numerical, analytical and discursive abilities. These A Levels include: Ancient History, Biology, Classical Civilisation, Chemistry, Economics, English Language/Literature, Geography, Government and Politics, History, Languages (non-native), Law, Maths/Further Maths, Philosophy, Physics, Psychology, Religious Studies, Sociology and Statistics.
