专业概况

在这里学什么？

This course will prepare you for a business and management career related to the energy industries. You will learn the economics, accounting, finance and management of the energy and natural resources sector. You can choose from a range of specialist modules, such as electricity economics and policy, petroleum economics and policy, economic regulation and low carbon transition, international relations, and transatlantic negotiation simulation. As the world economy is transitioning from a high-carbon to a low-carbon energy mix, our curriculum has evolved. No matter what the energy source, we focus on teaching what’s necessary for a successful business career in the energy sector: issue identification, critical thinking and problem solving.

You will learn to analyse, synthesise, and articulate concepts and best practices relevant to the energy industry. You will understand the fundamental drivers of various energy markets, such as oil, gas, and electric power. You'll be equipped to become or to assist C-suite decision-makers in the energy industries. You’ll acquire this knowledge and skills through lectures, seminars, master classes, internships or projects, and student-led extracurricular activities.

为来自中国的学生设计 Students with a Bachelor degree with an overall average grade of 75% or above from a recognised university will be considered and borderline cases if the student has a relevant degree and good grades in relevant subjects and/or relevant work experience of at least 5 years will also be considered. IELTS score of 6.5 overall, including at least 6.0 in writing and 6.0/5.5 in the other three components.
