专业概况

在这里学什么？

This course prepares you for a business and finance career that is directly and indirectly related to the energy industries. You will learn the economics, accounting, finance and management of the energy and natural resources sector. You can choose from a range of energy specialist modules, such as electricity economics and policy, petroleum economics and policy, commodity trading and risk management, as well as finance modules including financial statements and analysis, security analysis and equity valuation, investment analysis, venture capital and private equity, from the business school.

As the world economy is transitioning from a high-carbon to a low-carbon energy mix, our curriculum has evolved. No matter what the energy source, we prepare you with skills for a successful business career in the energy sector: issue identification, critical thinking and problem solving. You will learn to analyse, synthesise, and articulate concepts and best practices relevant to the energy industry. You will understand the fundamental drivers of various energy markets, such as oil, gas, and electric power. You'll be equipped to become or to assist C-suite decision-makers in the energy industries. You’ll acquire this knowledge through lectures, seminars, master classes, internships or projects, and more.

为来自中国的学生设计 Students with a Bachelor degree with an overall average grade of 75% or above from a recognised university will be considered and borderline cases if the student has a relevant degree and good grades in relevant subjects and/or relevant work experience of at least 5 years will also be considered. IELTS score of 6.5 overall, including at least 6.0 in writing and 6.0/5.5 in the other three components.
