Whether you’re pursuing a career relating to international business, you’re a cultural specialist in your own profession, or you wish to become more successful in communication, this course guides you through the theories and practice of communication, culture, discourse, society - and their applications in business management interactions.

This course is being reapproved under the University’s normal cycle of review. As such, the course structure and content may be changed to enable the University to deliver a better quality of educational experience to students.

If you aspire to communicate effectively across cultures, want to enhance your skills in intercultural business, and would jump at the chance of a work experience placement as part of your studies, our MA in Intercultural Business Communication is the course for you.

Acquire a skillset that can be used in every industry and develop your interest in the influence of culture on the work environment. You’ll benefit from an extended work placement, multi-disciplinary pathways, research training, and a deep dive into intercultural and communication theories applied to work-related, international business contexts. This course can be studies for one year, or you can opt for a two year course which includes a extended professional placement.
