专业概况

在这里学什么？

The world continues to use radio and television as two of its main avenues for receiving news and information. Additionally, the Internet and social media play active roles in the way people around the globe receive their news and entertainment. As a TROY broadcast journalism student, you will learn to skilfully navigate these outlets to help deliver news to a rapidly changing audience.

Through your training within TROY’s award-winning Hall School of Journalism and Communication, you will master the art of news reporting, including the interview process and writing for mass media. Within the framework of your degree, you will become a practiced communicator as you combine core broadcast skills with hands-on TV studio and production techniques and experiences. These courses and opportunities will require you to hone your critical thinking skills all while learning to work under pressure and meet deadlines. You’ll have ample opportunities to report, produce and anchor live television newscasts Monday through Friday at Trojan Vision, TROY’s state-of-the-art TV production studio.

为来自中国的学生设计 Applicants must have official copy of transcripts or results for education years 10-12 and diploma. Minimum high school GPA of 2.00 is required. English proficiency minimums: official TOEFL test overall score 61 or official IELTS test score 5.5 bands overall.
