在这里学什么？ History and International Relations BA (Hons) is a joint honours degree which will allow you to gain first-class exposure to both subject matters in equal measures. By choosing to study our History and International Relations BA (Hons) course, you’ll acquire a broader range of skills when compared with a normal single honours degree, and enjoy the option of specialising as you progress through the course.Our History and International Relations degree is split equally between the two subject areas. Its structure provides you with the ability to choose from an extensive range of optional modules tailoring the course to suit your interests and career aspirations.**History**The historical component of our History and International Relations degree spans the period from 1600 to the present, focusing mostly on the modern era. Its subject matter includes Britain and mainland Europe, but extends further afield to North America, the British Empire, Soviet Russia, South Asia and China. It begins with broad survey courses, proceeds with the history of individual countries or themes and culminates in specialist case studies. **International**On our BA History and International Relations degree, the International Relations component enables you to understand how key global factors have responded to international political, economic and social challenges since the Second World War.rld War.

In some circumstances we may ask applicants to achieve specific grades in certain subjects. While no specific A Level (or equivalent) subjects are required, we strongly prefer combinations drawn from traditional (academic) subjects to demonstrate a range of numerical, analytical and discursive abilities. These A Levels include: Ancient History, Biology, Classical Civilisation, Chemistry, Economics, English Language/Literature, Geography, Government and Politics, History, Languages (non-native), Law, Maths/Further Maths, Philosophy, Physics, Psychology, Religious Studies, Sociology and Statistics.
