专业概况

在这里学什么？

Explore the technological, economic, legal, and governmental policy aspects that are driving renewable energy. You will gain an integrated and critical understanding of renewable and clean energy technologies and issues. You will examine the role of international and national law and policy in the area of sustainability. You'll study renewable energy forms and sources such as:

• wind
• marine
• solar energy
• resource assessment
• energy production
• delivery and consumption
• storage

You'll also acquire skills for formulating, reviewing, analysing, and communicating insights in the area of energy governance. You will learn about the low carbon transition, with particular reference to renewables. This will prepare you to lead in thinking and practice on vital aspects of the ongoing low carbon energy transition taking place at all levels of energy governance.

Careers

As societies move to become more sustainable and develop low-carbon economies, this course will place you in the fast-growing area of energy, environment, society, and governance (EESG) sections of firms. It will give you the necessary skills and knowledge to take up a wide range of careers in:

为来自中国的学生设计 Students with a Bachelor degree with an overall average grade of 75% or above from a recognised university will be considered and borderline cases if the student has a relevant degree and good grades in relevant subjects and/or relevant work experience of at least 5 years will also be considered. IELTS score of 6.5 overall, including at least 6.0 in writing and 6.0/5.5 in the other three components.
