在这里学什么？ **Course overview**- Study International Hospitality Management Foundation Entry alongside staff who are recognised internationally. Gain a broad understanding of tourism, hospitality and event management.- Foundation Entry degree courses are ideal if you’ve got the ability to study for a degree, but don’t have the necessary formal qualifications to directly join an Honours programme. It’s entirely unique, and a great stepping stone to degree study.- At the early stages of the course, you’ll explore the hospitality industry and its development from an international perspective, human resource skills and customer services. You’ll develop skills in food and beverage operations.- You’ll move on to study marketing issues, talent management, applied research and service quality. We’ll support you to develop intercultural communication skills.- We’re home to two Research Institutes: The Institute of Transport and Tourism and The Dark Tourism Institute.- As part of the practical modules, you’ll take up additional certificates and qualifications needed in the industry, eg a Level 2 Award in Catering in Food Safety will allow you to safely practise your culinary and front-of-house skills in local restaurants.- Our students have worked in four and five star hotels in China, USA and New Zealand, and at Disney - the family entertainment resort in Orlando, Florida.- You’ll enjoy guaranteed work experience opportunities, trips and internships, with opportunities for international study and travel.
