Initially, you’ll learn about programming, and database and computer systems. You’ll look at Java, Linux, artificial intelligence, networking and computer graphics. Later, you’ll explore data mining, data structures and design patterns. You can even choose to focus your studies on specific interests, with modules in virtual reality or information security. With our envious campus location, minutes from central Manchester, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to get involved in the region’s thriving tech community. With your future career in mind, we’ll encourage you to take an additional placement year to apply what you’ve learnt and develop further skills, adding ‘with professional experience’ to your degree award. 为来自中国的学生设计 Applicants with a graduation certificate from a specialised college or school (zhongzhuan) with a final grade of 60% or above will be considered for the International Foundation Year. Applicants who have completed the huikao (senior secondary school) with a final grade of 60% or above will also be considered. Applicants who have completed three full years of high school and hold a senior secondary school graduation certificate with an overall minimum grade of 60% will be considered for undergraduate study. Applicants who hold a dazhaun qualification with a score of 60% or above will be considered for advanced entry on relevant undergraduate programmes if appropriate modules have been studied. Applicants who have achieved ACC/BCC/BC in graded units on their SQA-HND programme will be considered for final year entry on selected undergraduate business programmes. We require IELTS 6.0 (with a minimum 5.5 in each component) or equivalent.
