在这里学什么？ The LLB (Hons) Law with Criminology is designed to provide you with the legal knowledge and the professional skills which are essential for a career in law, whilst at the same time offering the added opportunity to study issues of crime and punishment from an alternative specialist perspective. The combined study of law and criminology will allow you to develop a holistic understanding of how the law operates in its social and policy context. You will not only study what constitutes a crime in the eyes of the law, but also explore the social aspects of crime, its impact on victims, the reasons why people commit crimes and avenues for rehabilitation of offenders.KEY FEATURES• Qualifying law degree (QLD) accredited by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) and the Bar Standards Board (BSB)• Learn about recent advances in forensic practice from criminology experts or take advantage of the extensive range of events and seminars organised by our Centre for Research in Law• Participate in our award-winning extracurricular activities, including the Law Clinic and the Refugee Legal Assistance Project• Final year dissertation project allows you to further your knowledge and understanding of a key area which interests youCAREER OPPORTUNITIESThis course will equip you with the knowledge and transferrable skills which are the foundation of a career as a criminal law solicitor or barrister.
