The English Language and Linguistics BA (Hons) degree gives you the opportunity to explore the nature and complexity of the English Language. You will gain an understanding of its structure, of how it works and how it is learnt.

Through exploring language use in a range of social and professional contexts, you will develop powers of analysis and critical thinking as well as professional communication skills – a skill set which is in great demand across a wide range of professions.
