专业概况

在这里学什么？ This is a Liberal Studies programme that incorporates an area of specialisation (a major), a general education programme which you will take in your first year providing a broad foundation for your degree, plus electives chosen from a wide range of subject areas to be taken alongside your major. The core of the programme constitutes an in-depth examination of the history of English Literature from the medieval period, through the Renaissance, Enlightenment and Romantic eras up to the present day. Your studies will be complemented by our courses in Shakespearean Drama; US Literature (from the colonial period to the present); Cinematic Adaptation of Literature; Literary Criticism and Theory, and Creative Writing (non-fiction, fiction and poetry).
