A Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Global Business with a concentration in marketing highlights the importance of marketing within the context of a global business framework. It offers you an opportunity to gain proficiency in the concepts, skills and techniques necessary to implement strategic marketing efforts.

The degree focuses on the essential role of marketing within an organization and providing superior value to its customers in a global context. The field is broad. Success involves understanding an organization’s customers and their preferences, then guiding the organization’s efforts to meet those preferences. This effort can involve developing new products, determining promotional strategies, selecting appropriate pricing structures or managing distribution efforts.

This BSBA is the degree for individuals seeking roles with a marketing emphasis in business, government, the U.S. military and not-for-profit organizations, both in the United States and the world over. Opportunities lie primarily in the fields of marketing management, brand management, entrepreneurship, distribution management, global business, promotion management, marketing research, retail management and personal selling. This degree also prepares students for admission to graduate programs in business and professional schools of law.
